We are very proud of all our achievements here at Ballysillan, from school awards to staff accomplishments we love to celebrate all successes!

1) We have worked hard over the past several years to establish our “School of Sanctuary” status amongst other pastoral care awards such as “Derrytrasna Pastoral Care” award in 2020, awarded by DENI and PHA.

2) Bonze Sustrans award

3) Silver Sustrans award

4) One teacher and one assistant have achieved full "Nurture Uk" training.

5) A letter of thanks from the new King to recognise the letters sent by our children to congratulate him on his coronation. 

6) Autism NI award. At Ballysillan all of our classrooms are "ASD Friendly" to ensure that the barriers to learning are reduced for our individual children.

7) Two teachers are now "Forest School" trained Level 3.
