Hello and welcome to Primary 4!

Our teachers are Mrs White (Mondays and Tuesdays) and Miss Hamilton (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays).  We also have three additional adults in our room, Miss Whiteside, Miss Hanna and Mrs Reid.  

In Literacy we will be focusing on different writing genres including poetry, and on refreshing our grammar and comprehension skills.  We will also be working hard on our handwriting and will be beginning to write in cursive form.

In Numeracy we will be working on addition and subtraction, and introducing multiplication later in the year.      

Our WAU topics this year are:

Dinosaurs (1A)

Whatever the Weather (1B)

Ancient Greece (2A)

Litter and Recycling (2B)

Flight (3)

In addition, we will have weekly PE, ICT, Art, PDMU, Music and Nurture lessons.  

We will be continuing to take our learning outdoors as much as possible in all subjects.
